Curtis James Hilton, 54 of Royce City, Texas; passed away quietly in his sleep in the peace of his family home, on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Curtis was born on May 21, 1957 to Curtis James Hilton, Sr and Alma Laverne "Janie" Breedlove. Curtis never met a stranger. He was friends with his entire neighborhood and would go out of his way to help someone in need or do something nice for the neighborhood. He was also the devoted caregiver of his mother, Alma. Curtis's career was in avionics and his job took him to many different places. But his greatest joy was his family and getting to know his little grandson. Curtis was excited about the upcoming union between Sandy and himself. He looked forward to the time when their families would become one. He will truly be missed. Curtis is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Hilton, Sr and his beloved sister, Jimmie Lou. Those left to celebrate his life are his mother, Alma Hilton; his sons, Curtis James III and Andrew Aaron; his daughters, Mandi and Hollie Marie with her husband Nelson; grandson, Caden; brothers, Waylon Breedlove and James Hilton; as well as a host of extended family and friends. Curtis also leaves behind his fiance, Sandy Doyle and her granddaughter, Livie; whom he loved as his own. A gathering of friends for a graveside service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Colbert, Oklahoma.
