Coreen Dooley, 94, of Quinlan passed away December 13, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00pm Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Monty Weaver and Rev. David Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Quinlan under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends is scheduled from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday December 15, 2015 at Quinlan Funeral Home.
Coreen was born October 6, 1921 in the community of Mexico, Texas to George W. Brown and Lula Boswell Brown. Coreen married R.T. Dooley in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She worked at the school cafeteria and enjoyed being around the kids. Mrs. Dooley was a born again Christian and a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two step-daughters Sherry Maxwell of Anchorage, AK, and Diane Lissak of Dallas; niece Peggy Jo Butler of Quinlan; nephew James Ralph Smith of DeSoto; numerous grandnephews and grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband R.T. Dooley; and two sisters Cordie Smith, and Auline Smith.
