Christina Burger

Christina Dianne (Monk) Burger passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at her home in Quinlan, Texas. A memorial service will be held for Christina at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church in Mineola, Texas with Pastor Michael Mize officiating.

Christina was born July 3, 1976 to Melvin Herbert and Peggy (Ferguson) Monk in Dallas, Texas. Christina married Robert Douglas Burger on April 5 2002 in Rockwall County. She worked as a certified nurse’s aide.

Christina is survived by her husband Robert; son, Daniel Monk; daughters, Kaitlyn Tannahill, Cheyenne Tannahill, and Amber Burger; grandsons Grayson Duncan and EAN Duncan; mother, Peggy Rodriquez; sister, Cathy Nieves; half-sister, Rhonda McAllister; nephews, David Rodriguez, Jr., and Michael Lehmann; and nieces, Brianna Rodriquez and Arianna Rodriguez.

Christina is preceded in death by her father, Melvin Monk; mother-in-law, Opal Burger; and sister, Charlotte Monk.
