Cheryl Tucker Jaggers, a retired real estate professional and homemaker, and resident of Poetry, Texas, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 68.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Max, her daughter Molly, her son Tucker, her daughter-in-law Elizabeth, her brother Lee Tucker, half-brother Thad Tucker, her nephew Spencer Neal, and her best friend Carole Bourcier. She is preceded in death by her father, Coy Tucker, and her sister, Karen Neal.
Cheryl was born on March 7, 1956 in Odessa, Texas to Coy and Martha. She graduated high school in Puerto Rico where her father was stationed for work at the time, and took relevant courses as needed to further her career. Starting as a leasing agent, she built a 15-year career that progressed from on-site property management roles into ultimately transitioning to building and scaling teams as a corporate trainer at Hall Financial Group.
She married Max Dale Jaggers on December 5, 1986 in Mesquite, Texas. She had two children, Molly and Tucker, and later in life had a dog Stray with whom she held a special bond.
Cheryl Jaggers was a force to behold and was fiercely devoted to her kids. Her greatest joy and source of pride in her life was her children, and she committed her time and energy to building the best humans possible. This was evident in her every action, from leading her children’s various after-school activities such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Destination Imagination, to supporting them in any other endeavors such as their music lessons. Cheryl was a strong Christian woman and long-standing member of Lakeshore Church in Rockwall, Texas.
Cheryl requested a simple cremation with no funeral. Her family will celebrate her life privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be directed to Lakeshore Church in Rockwall, Texas.
