Caroline Lancaster

Caroline Schmitt Lancaster, 73, of Quinlan passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at her home. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home. Family visitation will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Caroline was born August 30, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to Everett Jordon Schmitt and Ester Lorene Byrd Schmitt. She married Lloyd Curtis Lancaster in 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a beautician for many years. Caroline is survived by her husband of 24 years Lloyd Lancaster of Quinlan, son Tracy Tenney and wife Shanna of Quinlan, daughter Toni Hix and husband Royce of Van Alstyne and Michelle Fuller of Grand Saline; grandchildren Phillip Tenney, Trey Talley, Lacy Tenney and Ricky Brown; sisters Bobbie Beth of Ennis and Janice Arnold of Fate; nieces LouAnn Smith and husband Harold of Quinlan, Bobbie Lynn Grimes and husband Duane of Quinlan and Kelly Hargrove and husband Carl of Dallas.
