Bobby Avon Freeman of Quinlan, Texas passed away on October 11, 2022 at the age of 87. He passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family.
He was born on September 16, 1935 in Emory, Texas to Felt Freeman and Doris Fitzgerald Freeman. He was the second of eight children. He served his country in the United States Navy in the Korean War. He married Ida Fay White June 7, 1958, who preceded him in death, and had three sons. He enjoyed working with his hands and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his three sons, Marshall Freeman of Quinlan, Bobby Freeman and wife Katrina of Kaufman, Texas, William Freeman of Seagoville, Texas; five grandchildren, Richard Freeman and wife Tammy of Wills Point, Texas, Andrew Harp and wife Jessica of Quinlan, Justin Freeman and wife Robin of Kaufman, Cody Freeman and wife Kellie of Terrell, Texas, Austin Freeman of Terrel; nine great grandchildren, Richard Freeman Jr. of North Richland Hills, Texas, Kalob Wade and Shawn Freeman of Killeen, Texas, Whiatte and Sawyer Freeman of Terrell, Nathan Caldwell, Logan Freeman, and Jerry Freeman of Wills Point, Chase Harp of Michigan; three sisters, Betty McGee of Fate, Texas, Virginia Wood of Terrell, Doris Ledbetter of Brasher, Texas; one brother, Joe Freeman of Riverside, California; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Fay White Freeman; parents, Felt and Doris Freeman; sister, Norma Jean Tucker; and two brothers, Kenneth Freeman and Jack Freeman.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Quinlan Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas 1:00 P.M.
