Bill Swoger

Bill Swoger, 51, of Quinlan passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Bill was born on January 6, 1964 to William T. and Lorna Swoger in Chicago, Illinois. Bill worked as a truck driver for Dallas Tow-Boys for several years. Bill had a passion for dirt track racing. He drove limited modifieds and was a regular at the Superbowl Speedway in Greenville for almost 10 years. But Bill's greatest passions was for his family. His love for Melinda, Nicole, Matt, Jeffery and Ashton was unconditional and free. They were his true heart and guiding spirit. He will truly be missed. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Lorna Swoger. Those left to cherish his memory include his true heart and companion, Melinda Wesson; his children, Nicole Swoger, Matthew Swoger, Jeffery Whitson and Ashton Whitson; brother, Rick Swoger and his wife, Shannon; sisters, Samantha Clarke and her husband Bruce, Teri-Ann Cockcroft, and Sheri Swoger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. A celebration of Bill's Life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
