Betty Franklin

Betty Jean Franklin, 82, of West Tawakoni passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at her residence. Funeral service will be 11:00am Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Rrev. Glenn Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be L.D. Derrington, Rick McKenzie, Mike Gibb, David Morrell, Michael Stanfield, B.J. Jones, Frank Sparks, and Patrick Stampley. A gathering of family and friends will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Quinlan Funeral Home.

Betty was born January 31, 1934 to Ray Vaugn Bragg and Frances Sherman Rice Bragg. She will be remembered by her friends and family as loving and caring. She devoted her life to making a loving home for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Donnie Dunman and wife Denise of West Tawakoni, Larry Dunman and wife Becky of Terrell, and Bobby Rylant and wife Glenda of Kemp; daughters Debbie Floyd and husband Gary of Quinlan, Anita Rylant of West Tawakoni, and Rita Green and husband Tim of East Tawakoni; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters Mary Lou Wilson of Hanceville, AL, and Priscella Forbus and husband Phillip of Frisco. Betty was preceded in death by her mother Frances Garrett; father Ray Bragg; sister Edna Black; brothers Charles Bragg and Richard Bragg; grandson Jeffrey Don Rudd; great grandson Dustin Dunman.
