Bertha Gibson

Bertha Carol Gibson, 66, passed away on Sunday October 21, 2012 at her home after a long illness. Bertha was born on August 15, 1946 to W. W. and Dora Moon in Ennis, Texas. Bertha would later marry Jerry L. Gibson on August 11, 1976 in Ennis, Texas. To this union were born two sons, Jason and Joshua. Bertha would spend her life making a comfortable and loving home for her husband and sons; become a loving mother-in-law to Susan and Tonja; as well as a beloved grandmother to her five grandchildren. Bertha is preceded in death by her parents, W. W. and Dora; as well has her two brothers. Those left to celebrate her life include her husband of 36 years,, Jerry; her sons, Jason Gibson and his wife Susan and Joshua Gibson and his wife Tonja; grandchildren, Morgan Gibson, Maegan Gibson, Jayce Gibson, Ashley Gibson and Alyssa Gibson; as well as numerous extended family members, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
