Arnold Post

Arnold Lee Post, 59, of Winnsboro, Texas died on Monday evening at home. He was born on October 19, 1956 in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Raymond Arnold Post (deceased) and Alice Armstrong Deitering. He is preceded in death by his father and half siblings Raymond Arnold Post Jr., Joseph Weldon Post, Joyce Ann McCratic and Alva Nell Northcutt. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Gladys Pearl Post and beloved wife, Sherry Denise Post.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Geneva Deitering and siblings Ramona Alice Post, Michael Ray and Brenda Sue Post, Daniel Joseph Post and Christopher Patrick Post; his son, Richard Clyde Stevenson and daughter, Becky C Morris. There are many surviving relatives, chief being nephew and protégée Justin Post, his wife Katy and their four children. Too numerous to mention are grandchildren, adopted children and their children and many, many very close friends.

A local businessman for over 30 years, he was known for his strong work ethic, honesty and integrity. He was also known for a passion for crappie fishing, often displaying an uncanny knack for persuading fish to take the bait. In a recent statement he stated, "I have lived a full life and have but few regrets."

On Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:30 AM a memorial service and a reception immediately following is being held at Tinney Chapel at 449 County Road 4620, Winnsboro, Texas 75494.
