Arlie Cotten

Arlie Cotten, 89, of Quinlan passed away Sunday, December 6, in Emory, TX. Funeral service is 10:00am Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Leach officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in IOOF Cemetery. Gathering of family and friends will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, December 8, at Quinlan Funeral Home. Arlie was born April 28, 1926 in Hunt County to Robert Hal Cotten and Hallie Evia Cotten. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Zelma in 1955 and she preceded him in death. He worked many years but eventually bought and operated The BBQ Pit. Those left to cherish memories of Arlie are his sister Thelma Wilder of Quinlan; brother Alvin Cotten of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews.
