Argentina Gonzalez

Funeral service for Argentina Gonzalez, age 63, of Eagle Pass will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Quinlan Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas. Mrs. Gonzalez passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 in San Antonio.

Argentina was born on November 17, 1957 in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico to Miguel Quiroz and Maria Luisa Recendez.  She married Jose O. Gonzalez on August 23, 1972 in Muzquiz. Argentina was a devoted housewife and enjoyed gardening and baking.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Gonzalez of Eagle Pass; siblings, Margarita, Reynaldo, Alfonso, Irma, Hipolito, Maricruz, Lidia, Miguel Angel, Pedro, and Eva, all of Sabinas, Mexico; children, Luis Miguel Gonzalez of Sabinas, Jorge Gonzalez of Eagle Pass, Estela Gonzalez of West Tawakoni, Jose Q. Gonzalez of Tyler, Alejandra Gonzalez of Eagle Pass; grandchildren, Jorge Gonzalez of Wills Point, Elide Noemi of Terrell, Christian, Angel, and Aleah Hernandez, all of West Tawakoni, Nevy Brockway of Forney, and Jaxson Henson of West Tawakoni.

Argentina was preceded in death by her mother and father, and by her grandsons Jonathan and Luis Gonzalez.
