Anthony Conner

Anthony Wayne Conner, 71, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 at his home in West Tawakoni. Wayne was born on July 19, 1943 to Ralph and Pat Conner in Irving Texas. Wayne would meet and later marry Peggy Lochridge on October 4, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. To this union were born two daughters, Lynette and Kay. Wayne worked as general contractor for B&L General Contractors for twenty years before being forced to retired due to his health. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Pat Conner. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jerry Don Conner; daughters, Lynette Smith and her husband Ricky Mason, Kay Conner; their mother, Peggy Lochridge; grandchildren, Jamee Smith and her husband Joseph Martin, Wesley Smith and his wife Whitney, Trevor Conner; great-grandchildren, Shelby Martin, Adam Martin, Paisley Smith and Logan Smith; sister, Linda Smith; as well as his best friends and "brothers", Kenneth "K.K." Kidd and Joe Chastene, extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Laurelland Memorial Park in Dallas.
