Ann Moore

Ann Moore, 76, of Caddo Mills went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, December 14, 2015 in Greenville. Memorial service will be held 11:00am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Oasis Church in Caddo Mills. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home.

Ann was born July 27, 1939 in Caddo Mills to Clarence Gay Williams and Helon Atchalee Johnson Williams. She married the love of her life William Stephen Moore August 17, 1957 in Dallas. Her true passion in life was her family. She loved family and friend gatherings and her door was always open. Ann lived life to the fullest and was a friend to many and a stranger to no one. Ann was an inspiring leader and volunteer with the Mesquite Jacee-ettes, the American Cancer Society, March of Dimes and many others. She loved entertaining and motivating people when she was asked to be a guest speaker at events.. One of her passions was making a loving and safe home for her family which was demonstrated by her love of cooking and sewing. She always had a kind word for everyone she knew and met. Her open heart, giving spirit and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 58 years William Moore of Caddo Mills; daughter Nancy Gay McBurnett of Garland; son Stephen Moore and wife Deanna of Caddo Mills; grandchildren Derek McBurnett, Stephanie McBurnett, and Matthew Moore; great grandchildren Rylee McBurnett; sister Donna Woodard and husband Roy of Mesquite; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law Michael McBurnett.
