Abram Garcia IV

Abram Garcia IV, known to those who loved him as “Bub,” came into the world on January 27, 1981 and spent his life making people smile until the day he was called to Heaven on January 10, 2023. In life, Abe was a light to all those around him, bringing laughter and joy into every room he entered. A father of four, brother, son, and friend, Abe cared deeply for others. After high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Military for 4 years and upon his return resided in Royse City, Texas focused on spending time with friends and family, often dancing, singing, working out, fishing and being outdoors, all activities he loved.

Abe is survived by his grandmother Marie Hoedebeck; mothers Kimberley Burns and Sharon Pennington; stepfather Gene Burns; his four children, Madison, Dominic, Abram V (A.J.), and Ella Garcia; sister Stacy Cline Sanders and husband Willie Sanders; sister Penny Garcia Emerson; brother Robert Reed; brother Jeremy Redwine; sister Katie Pennington; brother Jacob Garcia and wife Crystal; sister Abigail and wife Jenny Portillo; numerous nieces and nephews.

Abe was preceded in death by his fathers Abram Garcia III and Paul Pennington.

Funeral service for Abram will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Quinlan Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023.
